Salve a tutti.
Alla mia seconda esperienza con apparati ubnt ho effettuato questa prima fase di installazione e cioè ho montato un bullet5 con una direzionale da 12db. Il punto che dovrò raggiungere non è niente di che...dista in visuale perfetta a circa 1 km.

Questa bullet5 l'ho configurata come AP+WDS e l'ho impostata, come Channel Spectrum Width sui 40Mhz per cercare di sfruttare a pieno le proprie prestazioni.

La settimana prossima dovrò installare suo "fratello" che non sarà un bullet5 ma una Nanostation M5.
Al fine di non incorrere in sbagli di configurazione, come mi consigliate di configurarla?

Ciao, allo stesso modo.

La ns. infrastruttura conta circa una trentina di NSM5 oltre ad altri apparati UBNT, tutti in AP-WDS o STA-WDS ( o trasparent bridge per dirla alla rev 5.5 ) con banda 40Mhz.

Problemi generali nessuno, pratici i soliti: problemi di ostacoli su alcune tratte, problemi di difrazione su altre, problemi a trovare a volte i canali liberi non sovrapponendo il tutto tra se e se. Nel senso...quando il nuemero delle antenne supera il numero dei canali diventa importante tenere conto che a 40Mhz se ne stanno usando difatto due: uno è quello scelto l' altro è upper o lower a seconda del canale di base selezionato.

Nel tuo caso, fai una scansione e cerca il canale libero più comodo per te

Lato STA effettuando il site Survey vedo l' AP tranquillamente ma non capisco perchè mi dia errori nella fase di autenticazione (o almeno penso che sia questo il problema):

Sia AP+WDS che lo STA sono collegati in bridge e l'indirizzo dell'AP è 192.168.1.100 mentre STA 192.168.1.101.

Dove sbaglio??

A vedere i log la pass non è identica tra le due: WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect. La chiave è uguale su entrambe ? Hai verificato ?

Prova open nel caso, se linki poi prova con pass.
