Software capace di aumentare le performance della rete 3x

Ciao ragazzi,

non sto pubblicizzando nulla e vi assicuro che non ci guadagno nulla. Lo scopo è solo di aiutare le persone e quindi sono sempre alla ricerca di hardware/software con performance maggiori.

Ho trovato l'ultimo software della Bitlomat che si chiama Passport capace realmente di far aumentare le performance della rete 3x senza sotistuire alcun hardware.

Di seguito alcune performance:
• The Bitlomat software will work both on 5 and 2.4 GHz Ubiquiti gear.
• The Flasher tool can be opened multiple instances, so that you can flash multiple radios simultaneously.
• The whole flashing process is very easy and intuitive. It should take around 4 minutes plus another minute for rebooting the unit.
• The best option for upgrading is to put up a Bitlomat AP while the UBNT AP is still running. Move the SMs over to the Bitlomat AP and then take down or re-task the UBNT AP.
• It’s always best to do the SMs first. If there is an issue, then you don’t take down your whole network.
• It’s always best to put the network in CSMA/WiFi mode prior to the changeover. That way the SMs will work with either Bitlomat or UBNT APs. The re-flashed UBNT SMs will be in CSMA mode by default.
• If the you are going to do a production network, you should schedule the time with Bitlomat support so that someone is standing by to help you. Bitlomat asks for 24 hours notice.

carino, se ho capito bene si puo' caricare al posto dei sw originali ? cioe' lo posso caricare anche su di un airgridm5 ed avere una cpe con + prestazioni ?

sicuro !!! e ti assicuro che le prestazioni sono nettamente superiori.. ad ogni modo ti allego la lista degli apparati compatibili. Provare per credere tanto non costa nulla.

Ricordo che una volta tolto AirOS, non si può piu rimettere.

Ricordo che senza AirOS Genuine non esiste ne garanzia ne rma anche su prodotti nuovi.

Ricordo poi che la CPE HW senza AirOS ( SW ) non è certificabile, in quanto non esiste alcun documento che attesti la conformità di quell HW gestito da quel SW.

Perfettamente VERO ! installando il nuovo firmware si perde la garanzia ma per quello che costa l'apparato consiglio vivamente di fare una prova per un semplice PtP.

ma sbaglio o se si tenta di mettere un sw , xm su un xw o viceversa non ti fa completare loperazione, le info che hai postato tu sono solo per xm.

bravo infatti, ho visto ora anch io ... il firmware che indica è compatibile solo con HW XM cosi come indicato, che ormai è fuori produzione ( EoL ). A me arrivano CPE ormai tutte con XW da prima natale ...
